26 old air circuit breakers (ACB) were replaced with new up to date technology (4000,3000,2500,1250A ACB) (Type Merlin-Gerin, Schneider Electric).
This project was performed under the RETROFIT conditions where the new ACBs were modified to replace the old ACBs without any Busbar fabrication on site and within few hours for each ACB. The RETROFIT conditions are designed according to the highest standards and under the supervision of Schneider electric – France.
All of these ACBs were connected through MODBUS to a SCADA system in order to achieve the maximum performance to the system, where the power system will be monitored and controlled from local station and through the internet.
All data will be reported and analyzed through the software. (SMS software from Schneider Electric) |
